The Dawson Academy’s two-and-a-half day hands-on course, Mastering Complex Treatment Planning, will be given by Glenn DuPont, DDS, and will take place Aug 21-23, 2008 at The Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, FL.  The course is limited to 12 dentists, and students who complete the course will receive a total of 20 continuing education credits.  The class falls under The Dawson Academy’s Advanced Restorative Elective Track, and to take the course, students must have completed The Dawson Academy’s Core Curriculum.

About the Course

In The Dawson Academy’s Advanced Problem Solving course, students gained the knowledge necessary to treatment plan every type of complex case by using Dr. Peter Dawson’s programmed treatment planning process.  Mastering Complex Treatment Planning is an intensive, hands-on class designed to take that knowledge to the highest level – implementation.  By diagnosing, treatment planning and developing a plan for phasing treatment, your confidence and competence to successfully treat major restorative cases will soar.  This mastery level course is limited for maximum interaction and instruction.  In addition to the challenging cases presented in this course, each student will bring and present a complex case for analysis.  A standardized protocol will be sent in advance of attendance.  Tuition for this course is $4,000 per dentist.

About Advanced Restorative Electives

Beyond the foundational clinical competencies developed in the Core Curriculum, the courses in this track are designed to develop the confidence and ability to successfully treat major restorative cases.  Advanced diagnosis and treatment planning, especially sequencing complex cases, is the hallmark of the programming in the Advanced Restorative track.  The specific how-tos of the most current materials, techniques and technologies are woven throughout these advanced offerings.
