Implementing Complete Dentistry: Team Training
Course Description
Implementing complete dentistry into a practice can be one of the greatest challenges in dentistry. The central component of successful implementation is a powerful, professional experience for each new patient. In this course, the technical and non-technical requirements for success will be detailed in a logical sequence that will allow you to change your practice in an effective and efficient manner. Participants will learn the step-by-step process for creating the important new patient experience.
All concepts of the examination appointment are taught including the role of the front office, the clinical assistant and the dentist. Preparation for the consultation appointment and presentation of the treatment plan will also be discussed, followed by the clinical and verbal requirements for gaining patient acceptance. The critically important role of the hygienist will also be explored. The hygienist is key to successfully transitioning existing patients to comprehensive dentistry.
Systems for dentist/hygiene communication and coordination will be presented as well as a plan for helping your existing patients understand the need to change.
